Hönle Increases Its Stake in the French Subsidiary Sterixene

Dr. Hönle AG, Gilching, Germany, involved in the environmentally friendly disinfection of water, air and surfaces, has increased its stake in the French subsidiary STERIXENE to 51%. With this move, Hönle is following its strategy to further expand the product range in the Business Unit Disinfection and offer comprehensive system solutions to customers who need to decontaminate surfaces, packaging, water or air. By putting the customer at the center, competencies and resources within the group are pooled to drive innovation.

The product portfolio of Hönle’s Business Unit Disinfection ranges from low-pressure to medium-pressure to LED UV lamps. STERIXENE complements this with xenon pulsed lamps, allowing all decontamination tasks to be reliably, efficiently and sustainably solved with Hönle systems. Additionally, STERIXENE offers patented bio-indicators. In its in-house laboratory in France, microbiological analyses can be carried out to prove the decontamination performance after UVC irradiation. Thus, the customer receives a comprehensive solution for their process and can always ensure that it works safely. Application areas include manufacturing and filling processes worldwide in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, which are subject to strict hygiene regulations.
