On Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 11 a.m. Central Daylight Time, Gary Zubricky and Peter E. Gordon will speak on Safety Considerations for Deployment of UV LED Solutions.

Zubricky is a photonics technology development and optimization expert. He is an accomplished leader in light-based emitters, curing equipment designs and applications used in the electronics, aerospace, medical device, automotive and germicidal sterilization industries.

Gordon drives Cudoform’s focus on enabling photon management, precise fiber alignment and co-packaging in silicon photonics enabled next generation high speed data links, as well as the use of micro metallic optical benches in unique life science, digital health and VR applications.

The duo will speak on the implementation of UV LEDs as they produce efficacious germicidal and effective material curing solutions, as well as how they promote plant safety. Zubricky and Gordon will touch on how ensuring exposure safety, as well as keeping a regulatory environment to provide oversight, is still being developed. The short talk will provide insights and guidance on how to get the best results from UV LED irradiance while maintaining a safe built and processing environment.
