Atlantic Ultraviolet Corporation® Launches UV-C Disinfection Cabinet for Various Commercial, Industrial and Institutional Establishments

Press release submitted on behalf of Atlantic Ultraviolet Corporation.

Atlantic Ultraviolet Corporation®, Hauppauge, New York, entered the UV-C disinfection cabinet market with its SaniUV-Cube™, designed to quickly neutralize bacteria, mold and viruses on many small items. It is constructed from stainless steel for extreme durability. Removable, washable quartz shelves allow UV-C rays to pass through, ensuring entire surfaces are treated. Four high output lamps deliver optimum UV exposure.

Additional features include:

  • A UV-C blocking, tempered glass observation window
  • An elapsed time indicator
  • An interlock safety switch interrupts power to the lamps if the door is opened during treatment
  • A treatment time keypad controller
  • An indicator for lamp replacement
  • Molded rubber feet
  • Dual cooling fans (intake and exhaust)

SaniUV-Cube can neutralize many pathogens such as C. diff, Staphylococcus aureus, SARS-CoV-2, Candida auris and Enterococcus faecalis. Custom sizes are available for any facility, such as the types of establishments listed below:

Medical Facilities: Laboratories, clean rooms, operating rooms, morgues, emergency rooms, pathology departments, exam rooms, kidney dialysis labs, dentist offices, nursing homes, kennels and veterinary clinics.

A pass-through model is currently in development, which will feature a door on either side for installation within a hospital wall. Medical instruments to be sanitized include thermometers, oximeters, scalpels, scissors and surgical clamps, to name a few. Note: Ultraviolet disinfection will degrade some rubber and plastics. Works best on metal and glass.

Health & Beauty: Spas, nail salons, hairdressers and barbershops can disinfect small tools like scissors, combs, curling irons, diffusers, mirrors, razors, clippers, tweezers, nail files, styling tools, manicure/pedicure tools and clips.

Cannabis Cultivation: Seedling trays, surfaces and tools in cannabis labs can be disinfected.

Industries: Cosmetic, electronic and pharmaceutical facilities can disinfect various tools used in their manufacturing processes.
