IUVA, Chevy Chase, Maryland, announced the deadline for abstract submissions for the 2025 IUVA Asian Pacific Regional Symposium, is January 31. The Symposium will take place July 7-8, 2025, at the National University of Singapore. The 2025 IUVA Asian Pacific Symposium is jointly hosted by the Environmental Engineering Society of Singapore (EESS), the International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) and the Centre for Water Research (CWR) at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Researchers and professionals are invited to submit abstracts that showcase pioneering research, innovative applications and impactful case studies in the field of UV technology. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Advancements in UV disinfection and oxidation
- UV technology for water and wastewater treatment, water reclamation and reuse
- UV technology for air and surface disinfection
- Novel UV lamp developments and applications
- UV technology for healthcare and public health
- Environmental and industrial applications of photochemical systems
Accepted abstracts will be presented orally or as posters at the symposium, providing a platform for knowledge dissemination and fostering meaningful discussions among peers from the Asian Pacific region.
