The International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) is co-hosting a special webinar with the IWA Sanitation and Water Management in Developing Countries Specialist Group on “Small Water Disinfection Systems: UV Light and the Role of Women in Remote Communities.”

This webinar takes place January 31, 2023, from 8-9:30 a.m. Central Time (14:00-15:30 London time).

The learning objectives of the webinar include:

• Recognize links between women, water and sanitation
• Recognize the relationship between women’s health (physical, mental, emotional) and water disinfection at a small community or household level
• Identify opportunities, advantages and challenges for UV water disinfection in developing settings
