Gigahertz-Optik, with US offices located in Amesbury, Massachusetts, has introduced the MDC4 smart filter radiometer, which is designed to provide accurate irradiance measurement, as well as identify the source centroid of the LED, laser or other monochromatic light source.
This is accomplished using a multi-diode/filter sensor and four-channel meter technology with proprietary algorithm. The correct calibration factor then is selected automatically to obtain low measurement uncertainty.
The MDC4 detectors are used with the Gigahertz-Optik X1-6 meter, and its four channels allow it to operate the multi-sensor MDC4 detector head and display each sensor results.
Each meter is supplied with a traceable calibration certificate from the ISO 17025-accredited Gigahertz-Optik optical radiation calibration laboratory. An optional S-SDK-X20 software development kit is available for self-programmers.
