Nedap, Burlington, Massachusetts, has released its new UV lamp driver: the 4/8 kW platform. The new lamp driver offers six single 4kW operation, three 8kW operation in parallel, two 8kW operation in series with balancer and a fan tray powered and controlled by the lamp driver.
The design of the product allows the product to be suitable for marine applications. The technology onboard ships must operate at high efficiency in order to load the ship’s electronic grid as carefully as possible.
Owners of the product get real time diagnostic data of individual drivers due to Nedap’s integrated software and Modbus/Bluetooth interface, which allows for predictive maintenance in which downtime is minimized.
